Casio Sport Watch #AQ160W-1BV September 9, 2008 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000GB0FYO/ref=cm_cr_rev_prod_title
Watch band is very cheaply made and very short for the average man. You may want to find a replacement band if your wrist is wider. I've been buying Casio watches for about 20 years and since then the quality of these watches have dropped considerably. The dial for this watch runs deep, that is if you desire fat watches you may like this one. The luminescence is also weak. The price is fair for the quality of this watch, running about $25. I returned this and bought the Casio G-Shock for men, a much better buy for $44. Thank you.
nearly ideal September 7, 2008 What if you could combine a multifunction analogue watch with a large display, 5 alarm, countdown timer, 24 timezone digital watch? Casio has done it with this watch. What if you could make the watch thin and available in color schemes other than black and chrome? Not yet. But at $27 this watch is an amazing bargain. Analogue and digital each have their strengths, and Casio successfully combines them to make this nearly ideal watch.
A Good, General-Purpose Watch September 7, 2008 I've long preferred a multi-purpose sport watch. I don't use them all the time, but I have need of stopwatch, countdown-timer and multiple alarm functions often enough to need them all. This watch provides them all in a single, affordable device. Moreover, the white-on-black analog display provides the contrast needed for my weak, middle-aged eyes to easily make out the time in a range of lighting conditions. The size of the digital displays is also more readable than many watches I've had in the past (though it may be a little gaudy for some).
The one drawback, as with nearly every other digital watch being marketed these days, it's not practical to change the battery when it runs out, forcing me to replace it outright when the time comes. I may be cheap, or perhaps I resent the delay to procure the new watch, but this always annoys me.
Broken band anchor! September 5, 2008 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
The watch itself is excellent, but the design of the anchor where the wrist band attaches to the watch is poor. The band has broken away from the watch. This is the third Casio watch where the wrist band anchor has broken. They should use metal instead of plastic to anchor the wrist band
Excellent Buy!! September 3, 2008 I really like this watch. It is easy to read the numbers and set it up. I am older so everything about this watch is a plus for me.
