great amethyst necklace February 29, 2008
I purchased this necklace for several reasons:
1. I had already purchased the companion earrings last year.
2. The earrings exceeded my expectaions.
3. The 1.9 ct amethyst gem was one of the larger single stones I could find (both online and looking in the local jewelry stores).
This purchase was a Valentine's Day gift for my fiancee who I gave the earrings to last year. The proof for me was in the reaction. She absolutely loves the necklace. And combined with the earrrings makes a really nice set. The clarity and brillance of the gems are everything Fine Jewelers said they were and the gift packaging makes the gift extra special. I'll be back next year: I've already been given a hint that an amethyst ring would be really nice.
